What to do in order to charge credit cards. I have credit card machine but it is not connected.?

I have small pizza place and no idea what to do in order to charge credit cards. I got from my friend credit card machine but I do not know what should I do next. The machine needs to be connected to the phone and I have the phone but who I contact to be able to use the machine?

you have to get someoen to do it..there should be a number on the machine

there’s a number on the machine you have to call
they charge you a % of every trasaction so its not free
