		<description>It can but in most instances probably won't.  You can argue you didn't understand the contractual terms in agreeing over the phone, it's just a scare tactic they use.</description>

		<description>These are managed by a voice response system. All recordings can be readily verified. They're likely legally binding. You can enter into a contract by using your computer, this is just a phone operated computer system.

Your best bet is to try to talk your way out of it and not end up in a legal situation. I.e. Call customer support and discuss options, complain, threaten to no longer be a customer, etc. You don't want to go to court with a big Credit Card company. The entire company is set up to win legal battles.</description>
