I decided to hang up and not do it. BUT there is one problem. I gave them my Social Security number! I know I know… terrible do you think they will do anything with it? Can they approve me now even though i said no? Does anybody know of this company please help with any information. Im really scared because of the stupid thing I did!!!!!

I would keep an eye on your credit report. You can also place an alert with the credit reporting bureaus and that can protect you. It makes it a little rougher to get approved for new lines of credit because you will need to answer a lot of different security questions. But the protection is worth the inconvenience.
Good luck!

Call your bank and ask them if there is anything you can do to safeguard your account. If you have any credit cards, check with the credit card companies. Never, ever give out your social security number unless it is a government agency or you are absolutely certain you know who you are dealing with. If you are very lucky, this will turn out to have been a legitimate offer. If not, at least you can be ready in case you have to close your accounts in a hurry.
