I had a fraudulent charge on my Visa debit card from "Internet Mall" for 12.76. The charge sat in "pending" on my bank account for 4 days, then dropped off. It caused me to incur over 0 in overdraft fees and since it never posted, my bank claims there is no way to file a fraud claim even though I contacted them less than 2 hours after it hit my account — and every day since then). I am currently arguing with them to get the over draft fees refunded. Also, there was nothing attached to the charge — no merchant number, no contact number, no transaction number .. nothing!

Has anyone else had this happen to them? I did find one other person on Yahoo! Answers, but wondered if there was anyone else. I have searched the internet over and over and cannot find anything on this.

Can anyone please help me about yahoo phone out service i have funds that covers up to 0 in my paypal account but my question is that if i added paypal as my payment option for the phone out service would my credit card be charged for the service or the funds will be billed to my paypal account i do not understand the process how yahoo charge the funds but i suggest since i have funds in my paypal account i shouldn’t be charged on my credit card.

I was balancing my checking account where I very frequently use my Visa check card (and have for a very long time). I noticed a "swipe" for an amount that I was not familiar with, but at a walk up deli that I do remember going to. Now, I am aware that when you buy something, that you can write in your tip, and when Visa gets the signed slip they add the tip AFTER THE FACT. But in this case, the slip I signed was for the purchase amount, but my activity statement showed that the "initial/purchase" swipe at that amount PLUS a 20% tip. As I tip with cash and lined out the tip portion in my slip, when it was finalized and posted it only posted for the initial/purchase amount. But, how can a merchant get a slip for 1 amount, and "swipe" for another at point of service? Also, since they did "add" the tip, if I had not lined out that portion, would the Visa processing center leave the higher amount the one to post even when getting the slip I signed if the tip portion is blank? How does THAT work?
Please let me be clear, I am not having a problem with my credit, nor do I need links on how to get or clean up my credit. This question is on how the MERCHANT can do/get away with what they are doing…. Thanks.

I just installed Yahoo jukebox last week and found a song I want. I entered my credit card info, accepted the terms and clicked "buy" on the confirm screen. But then I get a message that says "There was a problem processing your purchases. Your credit card has not been charged. Please try again. error code: 1". I have e-mailed support and verified that the information in the Yahoo Wallet is correct. I have phoned my credit card company and verified that I entered the correct information and they also confirmed that an authorization for was approved at the time I tried to buy the song. So, the credit card is processing correctly but somehow the Yahoo computers aren’t completing the next step and releasing the song to my jukebox for download. What’s wrong? I need to get this song for a class tomorrow.
Actually, I’ve been e-mailing Yahoo support, then they told me to phone in, then they told me to post my question on Yahoo answers. *Wonderful* tech support, eh? ::rolls eyes::

I tried to buy a cell phone using a yahoo shopping vendor.The registration process had been completed (including entering my credit card number). However, the vendor send me an e-mail, told me that the payment was failed because of an error. So, he asked me to send the money via western union. I’m afraid that the item has aready been charged to my credit card, so how to chek wheter it had already been charged or not? Are all vendor is yahoo shopping can be trusted? Hey yahoo people,

I am currently in the process of setting up a resellers business in California. In Cali, we need a resellers permit and here is where the confusion begins. I need a Reseller’s Permit to begin selling but I need a Merchant Bank Account to receive payments. When I called a organization, they asked me for my Reseller ID, which is the original thing I tried to obtain. Then the representative said I could go to any Reseller and obtain the merchant bank account. So now I need help as many other starting businessmen need in this utter chaos of confusion.

Now I decided to get a Merchant Bank Account first. Where do I get one for an online business that later on down the road will have a retail location?

Once I do get one I will obtain a Reseller’s Permit, but now that leaves me with another question, do I need a Credit Card Processing Terminal for online businesses or will my Merchant Bank take care of it?

PLEASE help : D!!!

I know there have to be some folks out there who can help me.
Jeez, I have looked for two days (literally) for a reasonable commerce hosting website that offers a shopping cart where your buyers can check out without me having to sign up for a very expensive merchant account. I hate Paypal, too (they’re crooks). I’ve read some really bad reviews about Yahoo’s services so I’m on the fence about them, and they’re not cheap either. Any advice on hosting websites that are reliable and offer checkout without asking for your first-born? Thanks in advance!

I currently have a Yahoo! Merchant Account. I want to know how hard it is to create a professional looking website using dreamweaver CS3. I’ve downloaded the trial, and so far I can make a cheap "mickey mouse" looking website. I am in the Ecommerce business and it is VERY important to have a professional looking website. I don’t have the money to pay a professional web designer, so I want to know if Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 would be a good investment. I have had some education in C++ and in HTML. Also I have heard that you need Adobe Flash CS3 or Adobe Photoshop to create professional looking web banners and interactive elements, is this true? Is there anything else that is cheaper? OK…here’s a tough question. I have some basic Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop skills but when it comes to writing anything but the most basic html tags I’m useless.

I’m starting a small Internet business and I’m using YAHOO Site Builder 2.4 to build my web site. It’s great software for someone like me who isn’t a computer expert. I do NOT have a merchant account because right now I can’t afford the a month maintenance fee.

I would like to create a SUBMIT button that’s more attractive than the drab gray one offered by YAHOO. Although I can create a nice button in Adobe Illustrator I don’t know how the heck to bring it into Site Builder to make it function. I called YAHOO tech support and they said I could, in fact, use a button of my own design but that I would have to generate the code (I assume html) myself.

I can get the html imbed code off PhotoBucket (my image host) but as far as the other code that enables the SUBMIT button to direct my sites form information to my email address…that’s another story. I’m at a total loss!

Is there anyone who can tell me what code I would need to post in the html box in Yahoo Site Builder so that the colorful SUBMIT button that I have created myself will function properly?

I made my site using Yahoo site builder. Yesterday i signed to Yahoo small business and made all the payments using my credit card. After one hour they sent me the confirmation mail regarding that i can upload my pages to my site and redy to publish.

In Yahoo stie builder, I clicked Publish- I put yahoo small business account. after i signed in— it says in need to sign in either yahoo marchent account or yahoo small business account.

I am confused what i should do.

When i made payment, i used my yahoo free mail that i’ve been using over years. Now that same id i am using for merchant account also still its not working
