I have had for the last 3 months ACH Card Services take money from my account. Each time I have disputed this with my bank, and got my money back, but the company has since just been changing the amount of the withdraw and my bank cant stop them because there is NO company listed, phone number or addresss….they have told me that is it a ‘phantom company’. So as long as they request a different amount each time they cant stop it, but I can dispute it and get my money back….which takes weeks. They started with .50 the first month, then 38.52 the next and this month 38.56! WTF……So I am in the process of closing my account but with all my bills that are due to come out (which this charge is NOT one of them, and NO I didnt just forget about it) its taking a little while. It will be 100% closed by the 15th of Feb, but has anyone had this problem and found out where it has came from? It the bank cant find out who it is and get their money back and I can’t either I will be charged the amounts by the bank….PLEASE!!! Any ideas…..I dont have credit cards set up as auto bill just my mortgage, insurance and phone…thats it…and they are no where near that amount.
I havent signed up for anything, and when i pay bills its from my debit card…this is coming as a check using my acct. number

I just wanted to post this ASAP.
I had an unauthorized transaction on my debit card.
On the 25th of August is said i made a purchase for 29.95 from "RZP."
I knew something wasn’t right, cus i was working that day, i didnt have time to purchase anything.
Sometimes they dont give enough detail on the online banking, they give you the shortened name or call letters for a company. Many times i remember that i made a transaction that i forgot about/didnt recognize.
So i called Wachovia and asked them, "what does RZP stand for? what company is this?"
Wachovia said they didnt know either, it was just RZP. They did have a number 1-800-423-1052.
I called the number, and i got a Indian lady from customer service. I they proceeded to ask them, why has my card been charged 29.95, i dont remember buying anything from this company/website.
THey then said, ok we can help you, can we have your credit card number?!?!?!?
I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! You can have the last 4 digits, or my last name.
They took my last name, then i interjected, I said "what company is this? What does RZP stand for, i do not remember making such a transaction?
They then proceeded to say is was an Adult Entertainment Company/Website.
I immediately said thank you, hung up the phone and proceeded to call back wachovia to open up a authorized transaction dispute.

I want to know if i am ALONE OR NOT?
Has anyone noticed the same charge, RZP purchase .95???
They have a number 1-800-423-1052??
Please help!
Together we can maybe get a definitive answer and bring these people downl
If it helps in the past couple of weeks, i have used MUSICSTACK.com, an online record store, where you have to give your credit card number to the individual sellers so they can process your order.
But i thought i used a reputable seller from the UK who has a STOREFRONT. that company was CLAMPDOWN records.
I also live in the NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ area and also work in the PARMUS/Hackensack, northern NJ area.
PLEASE help
again,
Unauthorized transaction made with RZP, Adult entertainment. phone number 1800 423-1052
Thank you,
William K.

Are fees applied to establishments that accept credit cards when credit cards are used? For instance, if I bought something form a local retailer and I used my credit card, would the retailer be charged a fee for the credit card transaction? I heard they do, but not sure.

And my —main— question is this: If they do get charged a fee for using a credit card, is it the same when a customer uses a debit card? A card that withdraws money directly from the customers account? Or is that a free charge for the establishment that owns the credit card machine?

i don’t carry cash because i have already been robed twice and lost money more then a few times in my life and i have found its just better to use my debit card for everything, it is also a good way to monitor my spending as it is all listed for me on my bank web page. just today i was buying a soda at a convenience store, it was 1.29 and i used my debit card , the Russian cashier thinking i didn’t understand his language was on the phone and said "this f%6#$ng jerk is buying a Pepsi with a credit card ,what the f*7%K" first of all it clearly states its a debit card though it can be run as credit, second of all why would it matter? if it costs them extra to process credit/debit cards they can charge a surcharge so it shouldnt be that. i cant be the only person who never uses cash.

I owe money on 3 credit cards. My car got repoed a few months ago and it’s in the process of being auctioned off and I am responsible for paying the difference which is a few grand. I am literally broke. I closed my bank account because I’m scared that the collection agencies have authorization to take whatever is in my name. Is this true? Can you please tell me what to watch out for? This is getting really annoying because there are some things I want to pay for like my phone bill or just simple things here and there and it sucks not having a debit card, it’s so much easier. I even purchased that american express gift card but that’s not even re loadable. Any tips? Also, another crazy thing. I am a new customer with a cell phone carrier and the very next day after getting new service, my phone has not stopped ringing from the creditors. How did they get my number???
Lemon: Thank you for understanding and taking the time to answer this. I’m very scared about the whole bankruptcy thing lol I’ve considered it numerous times before and I even contacted an attorney but when the appt came, I chickened out and never showed up lol

Visa mobile is a new service just for chase Visa Credit and Debit card holders. Visa is currently testing this on T-mobiles Googe smartphone. You can view your Visa card balance all the time on the phone. You also get offers dlelivered to your phone from several merchants.

I would not be interested in a service like this. Its too big brotherish for me. If you loose your phone someone can pick up your cell phone cand get all of your account information.

Would people really be interested in a service like this?

Here is an article introducing the service.

I made a purchase at a restaurant two weeks ago. While checking my statement online yesterday, I was horrified to discover that they’d been debiting my VISA check card account every single day since for the same amount. When I called, the manager told me it was a central processing problem with the parent company’s new program, something they were trying to fix. She gave me a number to call, but also told me the woman responsible for corrections is not even going to be in the office today! I am livid! I was initially alerted to the problem when I saw a refund from the restaurant on my statement, and I investigated. So, obviously, the company is already aware that my account has an issue. Problem is that the refund was not for the total amount they’ve overcharged me! The other problem is that this missing money mess has now created other problems for me. Do I have any recourse? If I’d written a bad check, they would’ve charged me a fee for sure! Can I legally charge THEM a fee???
Just to clarify, this was a debit card, not a credit card, so they literally have my money!

Ok, so I went to cancel my merchant account service that I had on my website from this company. They informed me today there’s a 0 cancellation fee. Supposedly when I signed up with them it was for a year (which I was never made aware of), and when I specifically asked the sales representative multiple times if there were any fees or hidden costs I should know about before filling out the paperwork when I first signed up, he reassured me no. The two sales reps I have talked to on the phone have been very rude to me from that company, and they are not budging to my complaints. —————————————-I have filed a complaint in BBB, but if that doesn’t solve the problem my question is this: Is it possible to just take their product off of my website, close out my bank account to which they are billing every month from my debit card, and just open a new one?

Thanks for your time!

Being sold an ATM machine for placement in a bar in Tarrant County, Texas. Seller is telling me that there is legislation against bars or restaurants selling alcoholic beverages being allowed to offer credit card/ debit card customers cash back. Stating that as the reason I must have ATM instead of programming credit card/ debit card machine to allow cash back.

I have a charge on my debit card for a lot of money that I have no memory of charging, and the description is just "nurit test, gaithersburg, MD" - I know that Nurit is a brand of credit card machine but I don’t know what the charge is. Is this a scam, has this happened to you? Do you know what this is?

This is just a way of big brother to watch you. Visa is looking for more ways to make money.
