I found a website that is breaking federal law… It even says so..
I was looking up cheats for RuneScape, (i’m kingzannanna)
And I found, learn hacks from http://www.cbtnuggets.com/webapp/product?id=250
It says, "Certified Ethical Hacker Series
Contains training for the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker exam 312-50
9.00 - Includes 21 Videos

Trainer: James I. Conrad (Trainer Comments)
Running Time: 11 Hours

Ethical Hacker Certification Information [eccouncil.org]

You’re up late, banging away at your keyboard. You find the hole you were looking for. Now you just find the right directory, copy a couple files, back right out of the system, and erase your tracks. Within 15 minutes of finding a back door into the network, you’ve downloaded transaction data for all credit card transactions within the last two years. You’d think credit card processing companies would be more secure than that."
I wanna contact on email at FBI, but only phone. Help?

I am an artist and do trade shows. I currently use a Nurit 3010 credit card swipe machine with a wireless merchant service. At my last show, another merchant told me that she thought there is now a product called a "cell phone dock" that would allow me to do credit card transactions with my cell phone. Normally these docks are for connecting your cell phone to your home or office wired phones. If this is true it would save me tremendous "$" as the merchant service is NOT cheap. Does anybody know if this would work?
bigboy: what in the world are you talking about?
chrisgalv : could you please explain why you don’t think it will work? My swipe machine will dial out using my phone line at home. Also, I have heard from another merchant that they are doing this…
Also, if this wont work, if somebody invents a gadget that will do this they will make a fortune! There are thousands of mobile merchants who are on systems like mine.

ok i work at a restaurant and the owner has a min for credit cards. no transactions under 4.00 . can they do that? i had a customer that told me she couldn’t do that, that its illegal but i’ve seen people do that. also on the credit card transactions it has the full credit card number. ive had people write over the whole number and my boss tells them that all she needs is the four last numbers just in case there is a problem she can look for the last 4 numbers. they tell her that’s illegal but i think if it was the credit card people would of programed it different right? just want to know if my boss is ok . don’t want them to get in trouble

I’m currently looking to start accepting credit card transactions for my business sales, and there are PLENTY of options available. I’d rather use either Peachtree’s services (which integrate w/ my accounting software, and work with my bank), or… my bank. Peachtree’s rates are 2.43% of the sale, + .25 cents per transaction, plus a montly rate of 24.95. (they have lower rates for processing credit cards using a swiper, but I imagine most of my sales will be over the phone or online).

My question is… is this considered a good rate? Average? Poor? I have no frame of reference, so I haven’t a clue whether this is a good price or not.

Thanks in advance!

I work for a company that handles credit card transactions over the phone and occasionally we can’t find a transaction on their account we offer or they are calling in about fraudulent use of their credit card. In these situations we have to have a supervisor user their credit card number to look up in our system where all charges are coming from. To do this they have requested we now sent the numbers over instant message. I have explained to my supervisor that I don’t think this is right and was told to do it because we are relying too much on the other call centers for help and it’s the only way he can think of that they can be taking escalated calls and processing refunds and looking up credit card numbers at the same time. My main question then is it legal, or just immoral to do so?
For further information it is NOT a secure instant messenger. It is MSN messenger and you can add outside email address to your list so friends and family are on your work messenger list.

I need cashflow for my existing 2 year old business & am considering applying for a merchant account loan which is based on my credit card transactions. Are these loans risky? Or are they a legitimate way of infusing cash into the business?

I am making a website for someone who wants to accept payments online. The group already has a merchant account, so they can perform the credit card transactions by hand. They just need a secure service that will store the credit card information for later access. We don’t have a secure server, and would like to find a 3rd party service that can do this for cheap (or even free!). The group is a non-profit, if that makes a difference.
