Americans do not produce as the Asiaians do. With high cost and Union, it is cheaper in the long run to say goodbye to the American worker that is more concern about her sick leaves days than her workday. To keep your call center in the states so some lazy American can have a job she hates and slough off is a bad for your business investment. Show me Americans that want to work and are loyal then maybe I would hire them until then I am hiring off shore people. It's an economic phenomenon that cannot be avoided and it's closing the gap between rich and poor countries. It gives more job opportunities to less developed countries. Whether it hurts the American economy is still in question. People will make money when they can, and outsourcing is just one of the most feasible ways to do it.
