How much money can I get out of an ATM machine using a credit card?

I live in Europe and will travel to New York soon. So I was wondering what the largest amount is I can get out an ATM-machine using my credit card or "normal" bankcard. Thanks in advance for the answer!

depends….some machines like citibank you can take out about 1000 (pretty sure about the 1000, but 500 for sure!)…..store shops only 200. Enjoy your conversion, I’m going to London in June and I’m NOT looking forward to the conversion…at ALL! LOL

That depends on the bank, but on average the limit is $500 USD a day.
