Mobile Credit Card Processing
Does it work like a normal credit card machine that’s plugged into the wall? Will it work with my merchant account?

Mobile credit card processing works just like a normal credit card machine except you can take the machine with you and it does not have to be plugged in. It is usually wireless and works with your merchant account just like a normal credit card terminal.
You can learn more information about credit card terminals at http://www.merchantaccountbasics.com/credit-card-processing.php#ccp1

Generally, they store all the information from your credit card in the machine’s memory. At the end of the day, all of that data is downloaded and processed. That’s scary. Your credit card number and possibly PIN numbers (for debit transactions) are stored in the machine. Even wired ATM machines store about 4 months of credit card numbers in their memory in case there’s dispute.
So, my advice. Don’t use wireless or free standing ATM machines. If it isn’t built into a building, it’s risky. Even built-in ATM machines have their risks.

If you are a mobile business and you need to take credit cards there are a number of good and secure ways to do it. There are wireless mobile devices that work like a cell phone that do not have to be plugged in. There are readers that work with a bluetooth phone that will print a receipt or will not print a receipt. We can hook these to an online account or a traditional account. We have all new equipment and it is all PCI compliant which means it meets all the newest guidlines for security. You will not have to worry about any ID theft or card theft. You are also insured up to $50,000 per card. If you are interested please contact me at BrianD@BPSWorldwide.com and I can go over all the options and costs with you. If you are set up correctly you should have no problems and low costs every month.
