		<description>If the check has not cleared the bank yet , you can call your banks 24 hour number and place a stop payment on the check, keep in mind though you may be liable for a bounced check or have to pay a fee for the stopped payment. If the check has already cleared there is nothing you can do as far the bank is concerned, but you can always contact the company and tell them you are expecting a refund for returning your books. If they don't want to cooperate then you may have to speak with a Attorney, or you can inform them that you will make a call to the Federal Trade Commission.</description>
