You have to start by carefully reading your terms of service. To the best of my knowledge they have to let you out of your contract under the circumstances you describe. Try being a little more forceful with them, you have to be affirmative and persistent - but do not use curse words or it could damage any Better Business Bureau complaints. Which is the next thing you can do is file a complaint.

Try different techniques to make a roaming call at your house. Dial numbers using the area code and no area code for example if dialing 555-1111 give you a request for a credit card try 203-555-1111 and 1-203-555-1111 one of these may break that request and get through.

NOW here's the fun part if you can figure out how to connect to calls in roaming mode put your phone setting to roam only. Then make calls as many as long as you can. Sprint will drop you from their contract fast.

As a last resort you can trade your contract off at

http://www.cellswapper.com/

or

http://celltradeusa.com/

Search the web for the term "get out of sprint contract"
and some other resources will show up.

good luck

1. Check out the provider's coverage map, and pick a spot in the middle of nowhere that gets NO coverage. I'm talking coverage for about 300 miles around the spot.

2. Sign up for online billing and make sure they're not sending you ANY mail.

3. Change your address to a location in that no coverage zone.

4. Call customer service and report that you get no coverage at home. Their failure to provide service where you live constitutes a violation of their contract. This also means you are, according to the contract terms, allowed to break the contract without paying any penalty fees.

5. Spend the next seven years knowing that if the cell phone provider figures out you did this, you're not only guilty of fraud, but they can charge you the normal termination fee as well as monthly fees for the intervening period.

Alternately, just pay the early termination fee.

Basically, the same thing happened to me when I got tired of there attitude and general lack of help and decided to cancel early. It cost over 200.00 buck to do it. But I did and would never go through them again. metro pc is good. you can pay monthly and they dont cancle your phone and charge you an arm and leg if your late on the payment. However if you are your phone still works for 911.
