You could try to dispute the information on your credit report. You would have to dispute each item separately if you have more than one, and you have to dispute it to each credit bureau. I did this for my husband online. It took me about a half hour to do each one, but when you do this it will ask you why you are disputing it and the credit bureaus will do an investigation on what and why you are disputing something. They have 30 days to complete their investigation and give you the results. If they are not changing/removing the item then they have to explain to you why, if they decide that you were correct they will make the changes needed. If this is not done within 30 days they have to remove it regardless. This way all the work is done for you, and you don't have to talk to anyone who can ignore you. Make sure you do this will Trans-union, Equifax, and Experian.
