What you're referring to is commonly known as a repeating field. Being able to do that varies depending on what application your documents are in. Excel makes it easy to setup, and it should be available in Word. I've personally used it in Acrobat Professional and it's very common database programs, like FileMaker Pro.

If the documents you are working with are in Word or Wordperfect, you'll need to create fields where the answers go. Usually by duplicating a field (cut/paste it into the different pages) and retaining the same field name is basically how you'd set it up. Once done, if you put a value the field once, it should repeat the value anywhere the field reappears. Once you've set this up you'll probably have to save the document as a template, but I'm not familiar with the specifics in Word or WordPerfect. I've added some links I found for more details on working with fields in those applications. For Acrobat, it is detailed under the Help documentation.

Whatever the application you're using, the common underlying idea is to make a field, give it a name or identity, and then repeat the field's existence, keeping the same name/identity for each instance.

Best of luck.
