Mobile Credit Card Processing
I ordered a family plan with 4 lines from Verizon. I paid for it with my credit card. It never said anything about putting down a deposit, just asked for my social and credit card. It took like a few seconds to process my order, but it went through and charged my credit card right away. Then I checked my email and it said the order is being process and going through a final credit check. ??? I don’t get it, will i get my order? they charged me! What will happen if the final credit check don’t get approved and I already paid?

Unless a prepaid plan, a phone plan that comes with a heavily discounted or free phone always will require a credit check. It was probably in the small print somewhere when you purchased the phones and the plan. I assume you did pass the credit check as credit checks only take a few seconds. When I worked for these phone companies, I can see if you passed the credit check instantly after I hit "submit". There might have been some issues they need to clarify. Maybe you used to be a Verizon customer and had some unresolved balance. If you had horrible credit, you should’ve been denied right away. Obviously everything will be refunded if they choose not to accept you as a customer. You shouldn’t worry about that and you’ll find out in a couple days.

If your credit check doesn’t work out, they will contact you about putting down a security deposit. If you decline to do that, they will credit your money back.

Unless your credit is really bad you got it. If you didn’t they have to refund the money they took. Any time a contract is involved there seems to be a credit check.

Yes if you have a plan they check your credit.
If it’s a service like pay as you go, then no they don;t check it.
