Credit Card machines that run off of internet on a computer?

I have wireless 5GB broadband internet service on my computer. Is there anyway I can hook a credit card machine to my usb port and use the internet to run credit cards for my business. If so, what is a good setup.

I would contact the CC co. that you want to use and they should be able to tell you what the best set up is.
