can you go to an atm machine without haveing your credit card?

well, i want to know if you can just simply put all your info on your card to an atm machine and take money out…? like without swiping the card.

Nope, they have to have to the card. This is one of the ways the banks help protect you against people stealing your information and trying to steel your money. If you don’t have your card you’ll have to wait till the bank opens and go inside with your ID and make a withdrawal. Sorry.

You generally don’t use your credit card at the ATM, you use your debit card (often called your ATM card). The debit card allows you to withdraw money from your checking account or savings account. Using your credit card would be the same as taking a cash advance on your credit line, and that might cause higher interest rates or fees. Not a good idea.
But no, you can’t get money out of the machine without swiping one or the other of your cards. That’s a definite requirement.
