Does anyone know of a credit card processor that can do Droid Android credit card processing? I have a business and I want to process credit cards on my droid android phone.

i am indonesian. living in Guangzhou china. wanted to have credit card. i never have credit card before. and here in china i realy need one for shopping because sometimes i dont understand the language in the atm machine. any idea how to get one credit card for my own? any bank.

I work at a hotel in Arkansas and I just had a guest from Nevada yell at me telling me that credit card imprints are now illegal. I don’t understand why american express would issue a credit card machine if they were illegal and if they were just recently made illegal why they wouldn’t call/mail all of the people they issued them to. He said that we can keep doing it until someone sues us I’m assuming he means himself since I imprinted it anyway it sounded to me like something was fishy since we have government and military people stay with us all the time and haven’t said a word, he told me it was due to the new privacy acts or something like that but i couldn’t find anything on it. It is a legitimate credit card imprinting machiene issued by american express.
Wow thanks alot! I thought it might be something like that, I know that we put them on reg. cards in case our system and back up both go down, and also to make sure the number in the computer and the number on the reg card match since people like to switch c.c. at check in and the computer doesn’t always save the second card so the wrong card could get charged. I feel a whole lot better now haha I just didn’t want my manager and what not to get in trouble. I’ve only been doing front desk for about 7 months since my hotel opened like i said we have lawyers and high ranking govt. officals come through all the time so i assumed that they would have told me by now.

I have a Bank Debit card that also has a Visa logo on it, I have to wait another 2 days for my Paycheck to process and go through, So there is like in the account, My question is if i use my Debit/Credit card over the internet as credit will it work? I need to pay my phone bill, So will it go through and make me have an overdraft fee or will it just deny it upon request? like i have maxed out…… the bill is

Anybody work in the board game industry that may have first hand knowledge when Parker Bros will make a US version of this game with the electronic banker? You can tell me..I won’t tell anyone! Our secret…LOL

I read that it is available now in the UK, Australia and other countries. It seems pretty cool and replaces the money with a credit card. I want this!!! But only ones for sale are in other countries and use foreign landmarks on the spaces…i.e. Buckingham Palace..Big Ben. You get the point. C’mon Parker Brothers!!!

Has anyone heard of TMG, Transtech Merchant Group? Beware! Its a Credit card Processing company. A woman came to my co. asking to compare rates with my current processor. I said I wasn’t interested but continued. After I got upset with all the questions and paperwork she was doing I questioned her. She got someone on the phone that told me they have to fill out an application to see if I quality before they can tell me the numbers, rates. I continued & signed without reading. Couple days later someone called wanting to program my machine. I was mad and said I wanted nothing to do with them and hung up. Now the sad thing is I am stuck with a 5 early cancellation fee or stay with a 3 year agreement, which will be more. It was all there if I read it and didn’t ignore it. I would like to get a hold of this woman but all I have is her name. Nothing comes up on white pages or directory assistance. What gets me is how this woman can live with herself know I didn’t want this and kept on and not telling me what I was signing etc. I know it my own fault. I should have trusted my gut feeling. Any suggestions?

Today my co worker charged 0 to a Discover card and after waiting for more than 10 seconds we both were looking at the terminal ….and then it said FRAUD SUSPECTED….were we suppose to inform the cardholder…call the police…call the bank? what

First of all, I’m a techno-idiot. That aside, can I connect to the internet on my laptop via bluetooth from my cell phone on which I’d use a dial up connection? For my purposes, a monthly plan for a wireless connection via USB, card or whatever just isn’t cost effective. All I need to do is have the ability to process a few credit card slips mobily a couple of times a month. The POS plans & machines aren’t cost effective either. I do have Quick Books Credit Card Processing Kit which I can install on my laptop in addition to my PC. I just need a way to get to the internet. Usually, I’m not near a wi-fi hot spot.

I’m not talking about sit down restaurants, I’m talking about like Subway, Burger King, or other fast food places or walk in places.

Like you order your food, and then you try to pay with your credit card because you’re short on cash but they say sorry our machine isn’t working. Would it be rude to not pay and just leave after they made your food?

This has happened to me twice, luckily I had just enough to pay with cash. But happens if you don’t have the cash?
I should have said debit card. I have one of those prepaid "credit cards" so I say credit instead of debit because I don’t have a pin #.

I was contacted by Merchant Referral Services in October of 2009 by phone. It was first presented to me that this company represented Visa and Mastercard. I was told that they were looking for someone to cover the northern ‘half’ of Michigan and that if I signed up I would be given that territory exclusively.

I was told that the registration fee for me to do this would be approximately 0.00. I signed up with the company on October 26th, 2009. as an affiliate. There was also an additional ongoing fee of .00 monthly taken directly from my checking account.

In my home office, I was unable to get into the companies’ ‘back office’, the website/address where I could check on referrals I had submitted to the company. When I called the company, no one answered. I thought the problem was my home office computer, but tried from other computers/internet connections and still was unable to reach the companies’ ‘back office’ to check on referrals.

When I spoke to a company representative about referrals I had submitted, I was told that I had faxed the form to the company with ‘errors’ and would not receive credit/payment for the referral.

When I spoke to different representatives from Merchant Referral Solutions about the problems I was having with access to the company’s’ ‘back office’, and not being able to track referrals, I was told something completely different by each new person I spoke to.

I feel I was lied to about who/what Merchant Referral Solutions really is/was. I know I was mislead about their relationship with major credit card companies and how the process actually works if you do sign up as an affiliate with them.

I did speak to someone from Merchant Referral Solutions about a specific business that I turned in as a referral/lead that had later been contacted by someone else for their business. I asked this man if Merchant Referral Solutions had a sister company that referrals were submitted to. I believed my referral was sold or given away to someone else by Merchant Referral Solutions.

I have been unable to reach a solution with this company. I would like a full refund of my initial affiliate fee of 5.00, as well as the .00 monthly fee being taken from my checking account since October of 2009.

I take care of my husband, Bob, a disabled veteran, full time and was hoping this company would be a solution to financial struggles we’ve already had, not something else we would have to worry about.

Hello all!
I am a Canadian Citizen currently in the process of becoming a permanent resident of the USA. Due to a past abusive relationship and teenage stupidity, I don’t have the prettiest credit score in Canada. I want to start building my credit in the US before I receive my Green Card and move down there. Is there anyway to do this without a Social Security Number or any other US documentation? Please help!

(Cell phone? Credit card?)
Also, is there anyway to avoid my Canadian credit from following me to US?

Our telephone service in my restaurant has been temporarily disconnected so our credit card machine doesn’t work. What is the best way to say that we can’t accept credit cards due to telephone disconnection? Should I just write, "Due to our temporarily unavailable phone service, credit cards will NOT be accepted. We are sorry for this inconvenience. Thank You"

To make a long story short, I moved to Texas away from my family to start a "new life" and in the process of getting back on my feet I was irresponsible with my credit card and made a lot of mistakes with late payments, etc. I do not have anything in collections nor have I ever. I have never had a lawsuit or anything like that, but I am trying to pay off a credit card balance of 2500 as I am a full-time waitress and full-time student. So far I have paid it down to 2000, paying 150 a month and not using it. I am following a strict budget now and certainly have improved. I have paid all my bills on time for the past six months or so, but I know it will take a lot longer than that to improve from my past.

Would you all recommend I raise my credit limit to 3000+ on my card so I do not carry an amount so close to my limit, which negatively affects my score? I no longer use the card, I just pay on it, but I figured having the limit raised as I pay it off might be better because I wouldn’t stay so close to the limit as I paid it off (which will take awhile).

Any other advice on improving my credit score? I have a lot of open credit cards from stores like Old Navy, Victorias Secret, JcPennys with NO balance (nothing on them) that I canceled today (was this a good idea?) because I didn’t want to have them when I never use them.

Also, I canceled Sprint awhile back for a more affordable cell phone plan. The account is paid off and closed, but will canceling it hurt my credit score?

I’ll stop now. I’ve gotten a lot better and learned a LOT about budgeting and credit and what not as I have learned to support myself and grown up going to school and working. I just need advice on improving my credit score… I was a little depressed about it when I got my free credit report but expected it just the same. Any advice?

When I was first pregnant my husband (at the time fiance) had me go to an ER. I was in major stomach pains and tried telling him it was normal because my mother had the same problems with all four of her kids. But he was so afraid it was something else so I went. All they said was "yeah you’re pregnant and about 6 weeks." they didnt’ say anything about why i was in pain, and even stuck me with something. I actualy screamed out because it hurt so much and the lady was like "oh no, shhh shhh shh" shushing me. I remember something about saying useing a straw (im guessing to get urine although I dunno why i oculdnt just go to the bathroom and peei n a cup) and her saying "i’m glad we didn’t use the big straw" ANYWAYS- we didn’t have insurance at the time, I was techinially comepletely on my own. I dont have any credit cards or anything-been married to hubby for over a year now and we have our son. We were able to get insurance before baby was born (he’s in military and they were going really slow. We were trying to get married even before I was pregnant and ended up having to call higher up to get the process going. Apparently the area he was workign in didn’t want him to get married and was trying to hold it off . I guess thuinking if they held it off long enough we wouldn’t marry at all.) Anyways, debt collectors have called his cell phone, we did make one payment once when we could afford it but we havn’t been able to ever since then. Anyway, what can they do? Mother in law keeps saying they can’t do anything. Any experience? thanks

I recently made a purchase at a department store, the amount was over 0.00. I swiped my american express card in the machine and pressed credit and pressed ok when the amount came up, the clerk then gave me the slip to sign. When I got home I realized that the store clerk put not only my copy of the charge slip in the bag but the store copy as well. Will this charge still show up on my amex?
