I didnt see any phone option on a paypal merchant account. Is there an online site that I can just enter the credit card numbers and the total bill, and they can process this for me? For a percentage?
I will be selling Crafts, and I would like to know how I can Receive Payment from my Customers without having to setup a Merchant Account or anything like that (for now at least) Also I will be creating my own Website for such Business, but was wondering if I can receive payments through the Website… Thanks a lot!
I have a $ 250 credit card charge on my account but I cannot recall who I may have paid this to. The charge description says "DIVIRSFD BUSNIS", but I cannot think of who that would be. Is there a way, using the merchant terminal number or anything elase, to find out what business this was.

I asked a similar question before, and contacted an account executive at Transfirst with my question. He did not see a problem, sent me the application which I filled out and sent back, and was subsequently told that I "was accepted" to accept credit cards trough for Dial Pay. Three weeks I'm still waiting for my merchant id to be emailed to me. Every time I call I get another excuse. At this point in time, why doesn't he just own up and tell me that I was actually turned down?
When you fill out the application for a merchant id, they also do a credit check. That's when they discover your bad credit. It has nothing to do with identification.
For everyone's information, I was turned DOWN by PayPal for a merchant account to accept credit cards in person. Please don't give me advice about PayPal. I'm trying to accept credit cards IN PERSON, not online!
I am starting my own online business and need to accept credit cards. I have looked at the services that paypal web payments standard have and like them. However i need to know if i have to have a merchant account or can i just use my own/business's account ?

How can I accept credit cards on phone and process it to my bank ?
1) I know setting up any merchant accounts with banks is a tedious process. Is there any basic 3rd party service which can accept credit cards payment for me online and then pay me, with a minimal fees ?
2) During this transaction does my customer see my name or the 3rd party credit card service name on there credit card statement ?
3) Does the 3rd party who will accept credit cards on my behalf will have to know what kind of services or goods I am selling to my customer ?
I recently submitted an application for a business credit card merchant account. It is an existing business with an existing merchant account with another company. This new provider wants me to give them my social security number even though the company has its own EIN/tax ID. Why would they want my social? Does this open me up to financial liabilities of the company? I know if they hard pull my credit information, this has a negative impact on my personal credit rating. The other option is to jump through hoops of sending several years tax returns and months of bank statements. What is the best course of action?

This is not for a business credit card, it is for a merchant account to process credit cards.
My neighbor makes wooden toys/games for children, and I am helping him set up a website so that he can sell online. He is wanting to use Paypal so that he can accept payments directly from the website, and I was wondering exactly how I would go about setting this up? Does he need a merchant's account? He isn't going to be selling a whole lot since all the toys are handmade, so I was wondering if he would even need a merchants account or if there was some other way to go about putting a Paypal link on the page? Also, does this cost anything to set up and use?

i was wrongly charged at it was voided. but what do u do on the small machines to void.
I closed my business, however, I left the business account open just in case I wanted to restart later. I told the merchant company to close my account and they did not and accessed my checking 2 times and caused overdraft fees. Anyone know my rights. An Inc. business is suppose to be treated seperately from an individual. The company had its own EIN and it was listed under the company name NOT mine. However, I was an officer on the account..

I received a pre-approval slip from Target, and I applied for the credit card. After submitting my application, the slip said "requires further processing", and that they will contact me within 10 days. I just called the phone number for Credit Services to see if I could check the status of the processing, and all they told me was that I would receive a mailed response.
I was under the impression that if you applied from a pro-approval slip, you were guaranteed either a Target Visa card, or a Target Credit Card, as long as you could prove who you are, and could enter into a valid contract. Why the mystery, then?
The pre-approval slip states, "You'll get an account if you can legally enter into a contract and we can verify your identity when you apply."
All of you are meaning "pre-qualified". That is different than pre-approved.

trying to set up my merchant account with yahoo small business and everytime I enter the TID that is on all of my paperwork it comes back invalid.
My friends store, got broke in to and his credit card machine/Debit machine got rip out of his counter, I used his machine couple times that week,I am afraid of ID theft, Could they get my card info from the machine, I am worry. Please help.
